Way of Seeing

                                                           To see, DRAW every day.

Benjamin Marcus began his career on the messy, practical side working as a Construction Supervisor renovating Tiffany & Co's flagship store. From there he moved on to serve as Executive Architect, managing numerous luxury retail, residential and commercial projects for firms in New York City, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Chloe & others.

He has worked in the offices of Frank Gehry & Santiago Calatrava and served as Assistant Editor to Ray Eames on the Eames Design monograph. He was in charge of the interiors program for Voorsanger Architects in the renovation + modernization of Newark Liberty International Airport and lent his hand to the fabrication of resin objects for design legend Gaetano Pesce.

Benjamin earned his Masters degree from SCI-Arc [Southern California Institute of Architecture] after graduating with a BA in Philosophy from NYU.  He lives in New York, where he has maintained his own multi-disciplinary practice - combining Architecture, Graphic Design, Illustration and full Project Management since 2010.

Benjamin Marcus has been drawing every day from a very young age.
